FLEXiT

Flexibility Assessment Tool for Smarter Energy Decisions

Learn More

What is FLEXiT?

FLEXiT is an innovative platform developed by NTUA to assess and forecast energy flexibility at both building and device level. It empowers stakeholders with insights, enabling optimized energy decisions and demand response strategies.

Powered by machine learning, NILM, and flexibility indicators, FLEXiT transforms energy data into actionable recommendations. Explore more in the sections below.

Key Features

Aggregated Level Flexibility

Uses building-level historical consumption & production data to compute hourly flexibility bounds with LSTM forecasts and Energy Flexibility Indicators (EFIs). Enables energy management suggestions up to 7 days in advance.

Device-Level Forecasting

Applies NILM and Denoising Autoencoders (DAEs) to disaggregate 3-hour forecasts into appliance-level time-series and calculates EFIs at 15-minute resolution.

Country-Level Support

Includes pilots in Greece, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Austria, Romania, and Ireland.

For Whom?
